Games - Alien Breed: Impact

I’m not used to playing PC games that much anymore, but here’s something that I can recommend. So I’m off to simpler games much more like this.

Alien Breed: Impact

Alien Breed: Impact, released by Team17 (creators of the much favored worms ^^) is a fiction arcade shooter styled gameplay (I’ve been playing these type of games which all of them are played on Aerial view). This can be played co-op, single player (story mode and quick play). It also has achievement statistics in which you can track your play throughout the game. Nice graphics running under an engine which I forgot, but anyway, you don’t really need to know that right?

Most games like this features character modifications. Such as like weapon upgrades, character attributes (I’m not sure if this game has that ability, but weapon upgrading is present), skills upgrading, yeah. As the title says, this game consists of alien monsters, high-tech weapons, space suits and spaceship.

You see the GUI on the lower left. Controls are simple as to playing a 1st person shooter game (counter-strike?), WSAD for movements, numerical keys (above QWERTY) for switching weapons, spacebar to interact with objects, R for reload, LBM (Left mouse button) for primary attack, and RMB (Right mouse button) for the use of items (as seen on the screen, the right box with the Health kit displayed). You can use the z and x to switch in between items (grenades, health kits and such) or using the mouse scroll button. While shift for running, and CTRL for a melee attack. You can do a 360 degrees aerial presentation by using the Q and E or by moving your mouse over the edge of the screen.

A game controller can also be used, but the mouse is better for these type of games.

I haven’t played this game that much, I just started off for about 3-5 minutes just to check the details, I’m certainly going to play this. You can expect that a few hours I’ll be bored again playing, that’s how I am now with PC games. If I’m bored about, it’s either I’ll stop and uninstall the game or use cheats to finish it. Well that’s it, if you like more of these type of games, there’s a couple of games in which I’ve already played.

Greed: Black Border, Nation Red, Zombie shooter, Torchlight (Has the Diablo influence in it, the same as with the music producer of the Diablo, although it’s a Hack ‘n Slash game, still, very recommended). Forgot the name of the others XD.

Argh, I wonder why the weather is unstable. Just recently, it poured instantly with me anticipating an overflow of sewage water on the bathroom (that goes for our unleveled house). Well, it did and I had to use the submersible pump to drain the water off to the toilet. What a harsh moment, you can imagine the dirty black particles flowing out of the sewage drain pipe of the floor (c’mon!). And yes, I did clean the bathroom after the water stopped flowing out. Will it work if I put a rubber sealing over the draining? maybe, well, the water might come out through a different crack on the house (yeah, a crack on the floor, stone floor). I experienced that instance when a typhoon struck (Ketsana/Ondoy? Parma/Pepeng?). Water was coming out off the floor cracks XD (btw, around 6 inches of water flooding inside the house).

*update*

Ok, I’ve played the game, currently on chapter 2? of the game, really liked the comic strip narration. Nothing more to add, that’s it ^^.
